Curopium-doped Calcium
Fluoride Crystal, CaF2:Eu has low density, and low back
scattering to charged particles and rays. So it is usually used for
detecting β rays and
low-energy γ rays. And it can also be used as optical switch together
with NaI(Tl) crystal.
Red Optronics can supply BGO up to
φ200×100mm (cylinder).
